About the hospital

A hospital that can admit you, operate on you, and still be open at 4am.

SkyHigh Medical Centre has served Magodo and the communities around it since 2012. We are on Adekunle Banjo Avenue in Magodo Phase 2, with our dialysis and intensive care unit at Yaba, and families come to us from Shangisha, Ojodu, Berger, Ketu, Ogudu, Gbagada and Omole.

A message from our Chief Executive Officer

At Sky High Medical Centre, your health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

We are honoured to serve this community with a dedicated team committed to compassionate, safe and high quality healthcare. Guided by excellence, integrity, compassion and professionalism, we work to create an experience in which every patient feels respected, heard, understood and cared for.

Our vision is to be a trusted leading healthcare facility, recognised for delivering comprehensive and patient centred services. We hold ourselves to high standards of clinical excellence while making sure that care here remains accessible, efficient and responsive to the people who need it.

From the moment you reach out to us, our aim is to make your healthcare journey as seamless as it can be. The team works together so that decisions are made quickly and explained clearly, and so that your time, your needs and your resources are treated with respect.

We believe quality healthcare goes beyond diagnosis and treatment. It is built on trust, on listening with empathy, and on creating a safe and supportive environment in which patients feel confident about the care they are receiving and unafraid to ask questions about it.

Our patients remain at the centre of every decision we make, clinically and administratively. It is a privilege to be your trusted healthcare partner, and we look forward to giving you the exceptional Sky High experience you deserve.

Our story

The baton was handed over. We did not treat that as a formality.

SkyHigh has served this community since 2012, and for most of that time under its founding management. When the founders moved on to pursue new ventures and passed the baton to the current team, we received it with a sense of purpose and a clear appreciation of the foundations already laid.

What we committed to was building on those foundations rather than merely maintaining them. That has meant learning and unlearning, introducing fresh perspective, and being honest internally about where the hospital was strong and where it was not.

A year into that transition, the hospital had recorded over a hundred completed procedures, including obstetric and gynaecological operations such as myomectomies and caesarean sections, alongside general surgery including appendectomy and exploratory laparotomy. Those are not headline numbers. They are the ordinary output of a hospital that works, done consistently, which is what we are here to be.

Mission

To uphold clinical excellence, patient centricity and the ethical practices integral to healthcare, and to ensure the delivery of optimal healthcare services.

Vision

To become a top leading healthcare facility, recognised for providing comprehensive and integrated healthcare services.

Quality and safety

The four things we hold ourselves to, and how you would notice them.

Values printed on a wall are worthless. These are written as behaviours you can check us against.

Quality healthcare

We test before we treat. You will be told what the investigation showed, not simply given a diagnosis. Where a result is normal, we will say so and keep looking rather than treating something plausible.

Patient centricity

You will be told what we think is happening, what the alternatives are, and what each one risks, in plain language and before anything is decided. Questions are expected, not tolerated.

Teamwork

Departments talk to each other. Your obstetrician, your surgeon, the laboratory and the ward are in the same building and reading the same record, so a plan can change in minutes rather than across three appointments.

Ethical clinical practice

No investigation you do not need, no procedure you do not need, and a bill you are entitled to question line by line. If we cannot do something safely here, we will tell you and refer you rather than attempt it.

What we are licensed to do

SkyHigh is a licensed secondary care facility, which means we can admit you, operate on you and keep you overnight rather than only see you and send you home. Theatre, laboratory, pharmacy and inpatient wards are all on the Magodo site, and intensive care and dialysis at our Yaba unit. For questions about a specific procedure or facility, the front desk will answer directly.

Leadership and management

The people treating you, and the people running the hospital.

The people responsible for your care, and the people responsible for running the hospital around it.

Next step

Speak to someone now, or book a time that suits you

The front desk answers at every hour of the day. If it is urgent, call. If it can wait, the booking form takes about two minutes.
