Medication

Never start, stop or change the dose of a prescribed medication because of something you read here. This applies particularly to blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, anticoagulants and anti epileptic drugs, where stopping can be dangerous.

Publication and currency

Each journal article carries a publication date. Medical practice changes, and information that was accurate when published may later be superseded. Where an article conflicts with advice given to you by a clinician who has examined you, follow the clinician who knows your individual situation.
