That covers the things patients notice, such as whether a diagnosis is explained properly and whether a plan is followed through, and the things they do not, such as clinical protocols, prescribing standards, case review and the coordination between departments when a patient needs more than one specialty involved.
He also oversees admissions and transfers between the Magodo hospital and the dialysis and intensive care unit at Yaba, so that a patient whose condition escalates moves within the same organisation rather than starting again elsewhere.
